The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area has a requirement to provide Janitorial Services at the FAA HONOLULU, FSDO AND CMO. Services are to commence on or about January 1, 2015 thru September 30, 2015 for an initial base year, plus Four (4) one-year options running from October thru September. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation and supervision to provide janitorial services in accordance with the statement of work.

THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN 100% SET-ASIDE FOR COMPETITION AMOUNG SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY FOR NAICS CODE 561720.

The contractor and all employees of this contract will be subject to a Background Investigation by the FAA Security Division.

The estimated procurement value for the subject project is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 for the initial base year and 4 option years.

The contractor awarded the contract must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at http://www.sam.gov/.

This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
