J. Murrey Atkins Library - Harry Golden Exhibit Background
The library has identified a space for the exhibit on the first floor at the end of the atrium between existing display cases. It previously contracted with a museum consultant who identified items to include in the exhibit and who will write the captions. The library now needs assistance in designing and installing the exhibit.
Materials to be exhibited include books, photographs, and other paper items; busts of Golden and poet Carl Sandburg; a metal sign advertising the Carolina Israelite; and a framed portrait of Golden.
