Islamic Spirtual Guide - FCC Terre Haute
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Islamic Spiritual Guide services to be provided on behalf of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary (USP) Terre Haute, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contractor shall be responsible for performing religious instruction and leadership for Islamic inmates participating in the Bureau of Prisons Residential Faith-Based Pre-release Program at USP Terre Haute, located at 4700 Bureau Road South, Terre Haute, Indiana 47808. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months from the EDOA and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The Contractor shall be required to perform an estimated thirty (30), one (1) hour sessions each week. Sessions shall be one (1) hour in length. This is an estimated total of 1,500 sessions per year. Sessions will be scheduled Monday through Friday and may include some weekend and/or evening hours based on program needs. The breakdown of hours will be determined locally. The solicitation will be available on or about July 1, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register on the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is August 1, 2019, 2:00 P.M. CST, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 813110, Religious Organizations, with a size standard of $7.5 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is August 15, 2019 with an effective date of October 1, 2019.
