Ion Chromatography System
The US Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Joint Armaments Center (ACC-NJ-JA) has a requirement to purchase a quantity of one (1) High Pressure Ion Chromatography System, HPIC 5000+. The system shall come with one (1) twelve (12) month warranty with one (1) option for an additional twelve (12) months warranty.
The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Thermo Electron North America, 5225 Verona Road, Madison, WI. The authority being utilized for this action is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available. See attached brand name MFR for Limiting Competition at or Below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested sources may submit a capabilities statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
