The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. 36C25918R0302 for the following service:
Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IONM)

The intent of an awarded contract shall be to perform Neurophysiologic Monitoring services at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, Denver VA Medical Center located at 1055 Clermont Street, Denver CO 80220.

The Contract shall provide qualified Intraoperative Neurophysiologic monitoring technicians, services and instrumentation for the beneficiaries of the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System for a base year plus four option years. Neurophysiologic monitoring is the use of electrophysiological methods such as electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and evoked potentials to monitor the functional integrity of certain neural structures (e.g., nerves, spinal cord and parts of the brain) during surgery. The purpose of IONM is to reduce the risk to the patient of iatrogenic damage to the nervous system, and/or to provide functional guidance to the surgeon and anesthesiologist.

Work shall be performed in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications and schedules. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation, any pertinent OSHA Occupational and Safety regulations, and any State and/or local regulations, laws and codes.


This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business (SB). The NAICS Code is 621399. Size standard is $7.0 Million.

No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. Any amendments to this solicitation will be available at this website and offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to this solicitation at this website prior to the time of responding to the solicitation. Any questions pertaining to the solicitation must be submitted to the contracting officer, in writing no later than 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time on Monday, April 16, 2018, at either
Susan.Protho@va.gov or the physical address listed herein to be considered for a response.
