THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 - Gilbert, is conducting market research to identify potential vendor sources which can provide one (1) Interventional Radiologist for Phoenix, AZ VA Healthcare System located at 650 E Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85012. The Contractor shall provide Board Certified Interventional Radiology Physician(s) who can deliver a full spectrum of Interventional Special Procedure services. The contractor s physician shall be available on-call during non-duty hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed by the institution. Contractor s physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Interventional Radiology procedures, including, but not limited:
Angiography Cryoblation
Balloon angioplasty/stent placement Line insertion
Chemoembolization IVC filters
Cholecystostomy Vertebroplasty
Drain insertions Nephrostomy placement
Embolization Radiologically inserted gastrostomy
Thrombolysis Dialysis access & related interventions
Biopsy TIPS placement
Radiofrequency ablation Biliary intervention
Below the knee arterial revascularization Carotid stenting
BRTO Uterine artery embolization
Endovascular stent graft of the Aorta AVM treatment
Treatment of pelvic congestion syndrome
Assist with vascular procedures in the OR/cath lab/other departments as needed
Charting, interpreting exams, and reviewing records
The Interventional Radiologist requires particular knowledge in peripheral arterial disease work-atherectomy and thrombectomy. NAICS Code 621111 - Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) is applicable to determine business size standard of $11 million.
