Internet and Telecommunications
The Organization's overall objective is to have a cost effective and flexible Telecom / Internet
solution. The proposed solution will be evaluated as if it were a new installation. The Organization is
looking for flexibility and expandability for both Telecom and Internet with minimal cost
to either if expandability is needed. Any hardware proposed should be co-terminus with
the 24 month contract. Any proposal needs to meet at least 90% of the requested
objectives.
• Have our VOIP and internet service non converged
• Have the ability to measure our bandwidth usage
• Have the ability to add bandwidth without adding significant construction cost
• Have a direct Point to Point from College Ave to the N Goodman St location
• Have the ability to manage the voicemail and phone tree system
• Multiple static IP addresses
• Bandwidth to automatically increase at high demand times
• Have the ability to control! adjust bandwidth if needed
• To be able meet/ exceed our future needs highlighted later in this document
