This sources sought is being issued for planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The CT National Guard will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this notice. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified other than small and small business (SB) concerns, certified 8(A), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), and Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) capable of performing the requirements described below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 336999 and the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is 1000 employees.

Description: Internal Airlift/ Helicopter Slingable Container Units (ISU)

• QTY: 9ea ISU-60 Storage and shipment containers.
• Exterior Dimensions: 88''W X 108"L X 60"H • Payload Capacity: 10,000 • Maximum Gross Weight: 11,300
• Paint Standard: FED-STD 33446 (Tan) or FED-STD 34094 (Green) either.
• Four doors, two on each 88" side (commonly referred to as "North/South" doors).
• Four-way forkliftable, • Intermodal - transportable by air, land, sea or rail.
• Stackable two-high when loaded with up to 10,000 lbs. or empty.
• Compatible with standard military transport vehicles/equipment 2.5-ton and 5-ton - FMTV, LMTV, HEMTT, Flatrack, CROP, etc.

Interested sources shall indicate that they are capable of providing the required services and must provide: (1) Full name and address of the firm; (2) Cage and DUNS number; (3) Size status (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, etc.). No other information is required at this time. DO NOT SUBMIT A NARRATIVE, PROPOSAL, OR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AT THIS TIME. Interested sources should indicate interest to the Contracting Officer as early as possible but no later than 08:00 AM EST on 26 June 2019. Electronic submissions are the only acceptable means, do not mail or fax your submission. Questions must be sent directly to fabiola.arango.civ@mail.mil and received prior to 08:00 AM EST, 24 June 2019.

This market research is for informational and planning purposes only. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted. Upon review of industry response to this sources sought synopsis, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest.
