Synopsis:

This is a Sources Sought Announcement. MICC - Fort Benning is seeking a potential U.S. Small Business with current relevant experience to perform the following project described below.


Project Description:
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTING CARLISLE BARRACKS, PENNSYLVANIA.


The Contractor will provide all provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform interior and exterior painting. The renovation will support the mission of Carlisle Barracks. The painting contract requirements are described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) prepared by The Directorate of Public Works (DPW). NAICS Code: 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors; with a size standard of $36,000,000.00. Project Magnitude is between $125,000.00 and $150,000.00.

Interested sources are encouraged to utilize the attached Sources Sought Information Form. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by submitting the following information:


1. Contractor Information: Provide your firm's contact information, to include DUNS and Cage Code numbers.


2. Indicate if a solicitation is issued will your firm/company be submitting a proposal:

3. Type of Business: U.S. Small Business Administration. For more information on the definitions or requirements for these small business programs, refer to http://www.sba.gov.


4. Bond Capacity: Provide your surety's name, your maximum bonding capacity per individual project.


5. Experience Submission Requirements:


a. Submit a minimum of one project that best demonstrates experience in performing efforts of a similar size, scope and complexity to the project description above.


b. Projects submitted must be completed within the last seven (7) years or if not complete then the contract must be 80% complete. Complete is defined as the project dollar value. A project is defined as a project performed under a single task order or contract.


Submissions shall contain the following items below (a - f) for each project submitted for consideration.

e. Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number:
f. Project Description: Include a brief description, with sufficient detail, to determine whether this project is of a similar size and scope to the project description in this announcement; and, how the contract referenced relates to the project description herein.


Submission Requirements: Capability Statements consisting of appropriate documentation, literature, brochures will be accepted providing it contains ALL the information required above (items 1-5). The Army requires a general statement of capability. Submission shall be received by 1200 hours or 12:00 p.m., 01 March 2017 and shall not exceed two (2), 8-1/2 x 11 pages. All interested firms shall submit specific unique capabilities to Edward Dingle, Contract Specialist at edward.j.dingle.civ@mail.mil. Any submissions relative to this requirement will be considered; however, the Government will determine its validity and implementation.
