Interior Rehabilitation for the .750 MG Water Tower
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Eaton, Ohio, until Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., local time, for the purchase of one new cab and chassis for the Public Maintenance Division. Bid packets may be obtained at the City Building, 328 North Maple Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320, 937/456-4125. The bidder will be responsible for mailing costs, if any. Bids may also be delivered to the City at the above address.
Bids are to be submitted on the following proposal: The furnishing and delivery of a new cab and chassis for use by the Public Maintenance Division, all in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Specifications included in the bid packet. All bidders shall state on the bid the delivery date and any conditions of the warranty.
No bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the City of Eaton, State of Ohio. The bid bond, cashiers check or certified check shall be in the sum of at least five percent (5%) of the bid and shall be enclosed with the sealed bid.
The City of Eaton reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or discrepancies in the bids. The bid will be awarded, in the Citys discretion, to the lowest and best bidder.
