Interior Railcar Cleaning
IFB CQ19105/CPR (RAIL)
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority is seeking services of a qualified contractor to provide cleaning services for WMATA's railcar fleet. The goal is to have rail cars cleaned to a level of quality which is compliant with this Scope of Work and sufficient for vehicles to return to revenue service.
A pre-bid conference will be held to respond to questions by prospective bidders. This pre-bid conference will be held at 9 AM a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 5801 Sunnyside Ave. Building B, College Park, Md. 20740. It is requested that bidders submit their questions in writing, whether in advance of the meeting or during the meeting. Questions from the floor, however, are permissible. If you have any technical, contractual, or administrative questions, please e-mail them to crooths@wmata.com no later than Close of Business, January 9, 2019. WMATA will provide written answers by e-mail to all those who obtain the IFB and provide their e-mail addresses. If an amendment(s) is issued resulting from questions and answers, it will be posted on our website, and a copy will be mailed to all bidders so that they can acknowledge receipt.
The solicitation will be available on or about December 14, 2018, via the attachment below. All bid submittals for IFB CQ19105/CPR are due January 16, 2019. All questions are to be submitted by COB January 9, 2019 to Cathy Rooths via email at crooths@wmata.com.
