This is an intent to sole source for Sustainability and Procurement of Botulism Antitoxins.  The Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR)/the Division of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) has a need to maintain the ability to manufacture and deliver licensed Botulism Antitoxin Heptavalent (BAT) Serotypes: A, B. C. D. E. F. and G (Equine).

Emergent Biosolutions Canada (Emergent) is the only vendor who currently manufactures FDA -approved BAT containing all seven needed serotypes.  Further, Emergent currently maintains the horse herd that produces the plasma necessary to create BAT.  It is believed to be in the Government's best interest to maintain this herd rather than establishing a new source for the sustainment of this product.

This is a follow-on to contract HHSO100200500017C.

This is not a small business set-aside.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
