THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates making a sole source award under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i), only one responsible source, with:

The objective of this sole source award is to procure service maintenance agreements for the government owned Lumenis Lasers:
Versapulse P20 Laser, SN: 415
Versapulse 80/100 Laser, S/N: 181
The scopes requiring service are manufactured by Lumenis, Inc. and are proprietary to the manufacturer. Lumenis, Inc is the only vendor capable of meeting the government's minimum requirements which are:
• Service must be performed by Lumenis trained technicians
• Service agreement must allow for an unlimited number of repairs regardless of fault
• Service agreement must allow for loaner equipment while government owned equipment is being serviced
• Service agreement must offer at least 2 preventive maintenance calls per year to include all labor and travel
• Must have no more than a 2 business day response time
• Must be able to provide service meeting manufacturer specifications without voiding manufacturer warranty
• Must use Lumenis OEM parts
The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 4:00 PM Pacific Time on October 06, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Elizabeth Sanders at elizabeth.n.sanders.civ@mail.mil.
