This Request for Quote (RFQ), N00189-14-T-Q244, is for INTEL software license, software maintenance and support prepared in accordance with the procedures in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ; said licenses, maintenance and support is to be purchased for the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FLENUMMETOCCEN) located in Monterey, CA. The NAICS code associated with this purchase is 511210, Software Publishers.
NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Mechanicsburg Office, intends to solicit for the required INTEL licenses, maintenance and support as specified below. Brand name equivalent / third party support is NOT acceptable.
ALL SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED BY INTEL. ALL SUPPORT MUST BE PROVIDED BY U.S. CITIZENS BASED IN THE UNITED STATES. SUBSTITUTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
This requirement is Open Market. Quotes against GSA, ITES or other pre-existing contractual vehicles are NOT acceptable. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements Purchase Order is contemplated for the proposed contract vehicle; anticipated award date is on or about June 30th, 2014. Period of Performance for this requirement is anticipated to be August 1st, 2014 - July 31st, 2015. Evaluation will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer.
