SCAG plans to develop an Integrated Regional Information System (IRIS) built on a platform that will serve as a web portal used to facilitate data sharing and data collaboration among SCAG staff, external members and the public. The IRIS portal will consist of a searchable repository of online regional planning information created by SCAG and other agencies. IRIS will enable users to access regional planning information in various digital formats. SCAGs goal is to make IRIS the principle data and information sharing mechanism in the region.
