This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. Any other or additional written solicitations will not be issued. Interest parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this announcement.



This requirement is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), all others will be deemed ineligible for award. The proposed contract will be a awarded to one vendor as a firm-fixed price contract under the procedures of FAR parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisitions, FAR part 19 Small Business Programs and FAR part 37 Service Contracting. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which if received timely, will be considered by the 502d Contracting Squadron.


Background. Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston (JBSA-FSH) San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide services that includes management, tools, supplies, equipment and the labor necessary to carry-out an effective and reliable approach to Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The pest control services shall be performed at designated areas on three (3) separate military installations or annexes of JBSA-FSH. The designated medical facilities are listed by the corresponding building numbers with the square footage disclosed; and, the list of the medical facilities can be found in Attachment-A of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).


Offerors shall review, understand the services, and provide the measures of the work set forth and outlined in the PWS. The proposed contract contains provisions for a One (1) year Base Period with four (4) Option Years.


Please read and comply with all requirements for submitting a proposal under the solicitation instructions FAR 52.212-1 of the SF 1449. Failure to comply with all instructions contained within this solicitation could result in the offer being ineligible for award. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure their proposal meets all the requirements identified herein.
