Insurance Financial Examiners
The State is seeking companies or individuals to provide financial examiner services, on an as-needed, if-needed basis, of admitted insurance companies, health service corporations, health maintenance organizations, and other insurance entities. The purpose of the examinations is to evaluate the financial condition of the entities in accordance with Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) rather than Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
