PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 585-16-102: Install Potable Water Mixing Valves and Control Construction at Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs).
Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials, work equipment, and qualified supervision for the Install Potable Mixing Valves and Controls Upgrades project; VA project
number 585-16-102 as required by drawings and specifications prepared by MEP and Associates, Inc. Work includes: removing existing potable water dead-legs, provide point-of-use ASSE 1070 mixing valves and DDC control points to monitor potable water quality. Time for completion is 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.

The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package.

The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about October 13th, 2017 with the bid opening on/about November 14th, 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation.
The project magnitude range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000
The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220; size standard $15.0 Million applies.
In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
