DESCRIPTION: The scope of this project is to provide all construction services, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all other resources necessary to install pneumatic tube transport system through the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, P.R. The system will connect Pharmacy Service with all wards and necessary services throughout the Outpatient Addition Building, Main Building, South Bed Tower, Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Community Living Center.

The Solicitation, Construction Drawings, and Specifications will be available at http://www.fbo.gov, and is estimated to be released on or about May 22, 2018.

At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov and VetBiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award.
Green Environmental Management System (GEMS): Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications. In addition contractors should incorporate pollution prevention and waste minimization into operations.
