Inspection of Rail Corridor
One year of monthly hi-rail(contractor must have/use hi-rail equipment) inspections of the right of way to
guard against illegal encroachments, vandalism and theft of rails, crossties, signage and other track materials on the State-owned rail corridor.
The contractor shall be required to perform minor maintenance including but not limited to replacing signs, filling in small washouts and trash and minor debris removal. Signs and fill material shall be furnished by DOT. The contractor shall permit DOT and other necessary personnel to accompany inspector if requested.
