Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic will announce a Request for Prototype Projects through the Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium. In order to obtain more information regarding the below projects, you must be a member of the IWRP Consortium. For more information on becoming an IWRP consortium member, please visit https://www.theiwrp.org. Two projects will be solicited and presented through a virtual collaboration setting with the IWRP Consortium on 25 June 2019. The Government anticipates the following two projects to be solicited via N65236-18-9- 0001 - consisting of the following: 19-LANT-0072- Tactical Microcell - The prototype will provide: the ability to provide a Department of Defense (DoD) microcell on the ground that can be deployed by the disadvantaged troops, and will use software defined radios to create micro-cells that provide communication environments to cross connect dissimilar communication devices (e.g., cell phones, laptops, and tactical radios). This capability can be linked to tactical radios back to the DoD infrastructure or to the local cellular system as a tower or a collection of phone instruments. 19-LANT-0073- Machine Assisted Rapid-Repository System - The government is seeking a prototype of a commercial cloud-based service to provide linkage between shore-based data sources of dynamic content and war-fighter consumers on platforms ashore, at sea, and airborne. Two-way data flows are required to validate the data or update the data. Human-Machine Interfaces and Machine-Machine interfaces will be optimized to create, ingest, validate, or consume live content.
