New York City Economic Development Corporation ("NYCEDC"), on behalf of the City of New York (the "City"), is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, organizations or companies ("Respondents") to renovate and reactivate, via subdivision, privately-held vacant industrial building/space(s) in New York City that face challenges leasing to modern manufacturers and industrial companies. NYCEDC, in cooperation with the Office of Management and Budget ("OMB"), intends to disburse up to $8 million from the City Council Small Manufacturing Investment Fund (the "Industrial Fund") to incentivize one or more property owners and developers to make capital improvements related to the subdivision and modernization of their industrial spaces. Both not-for-profit and for-profit Respondents are encouraged to submit proposals.
