Industrial Hazardous Waste Handling, Transportation and Disposal Services
This is follow-up notice to the previous Request for Information "RFIHAZWASTE" issued on 12 February 2013 for this upcoming requirement (the previous RFI notice is attached). This current notice provides additional information and status of the pending synopsis and solicitation for the follow-on contract for Industrial Hazardous Waste Handling, Transportation and Disposal Services at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This notice is for informational purposes only - the Government does not guarantee and/or is not obligated to any of the proposed tentative dates for the solicitation issuance or contract award indicated below. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
Presently, the Air Force intends to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation under FAR Part 12 for the follow-on services for this requirement. This requirement will be set-aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - only proposals from certified SDVOSB vendors will be accepted. The tentative date for issuance and posting of the combined synopsis / solicitation for this requirement is intended to be on or about 23 May 2014, with and anticipated contract award date of 1 Aug 2014.
A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to aid perspective offerors interested in this opportunity a chance to review the upcoming requirements, and to help in the preparation for submitting a proposal to the Government upon issuance of a formal solicitation/request for proposal (RFP) for these services.
