THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MARKET ANALYSIS ONLY. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THE RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS PROVIDING SERVICES UNDER NAICS 332510.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New York District is issuing this Sources Sought Notice seeking small business contractors for industrial hardware supply at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District's Caven Point Marine Terminal, Jersey City, N.J.

Caven Point Marine Terminal (CPMT) is committed to continually improving its capability to repair, overhaul and modernize marine vehicles. Our fleet shall continuously be ready to directly support navigable waters in New York - New Jersey Harbor.

CPMT is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. It is a shipyard/port and belongs to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) which performs marine services on government vessels. Daily operation of the vessels at CPMT enables USACE to execute the Drift Debris Collection Project among other efforts in New York District (NAN).
CPMT's mission is as follows:

• Provide logistical support for assigned vessels and marine crafts.
• Perform authorized work in connection with construction, conversion, overhaul, repair, alteration, dry docking, and outfitting of vessels and marine crafts, as assigned.
• Drift & Floatables Collection patrol, locate, collect, remove and dispose of drift and debris.
• Serve other branches of USACE requiring navigation within the project area.

USACE is interested in establishing Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with one or multiple small business vendors for the products described in this notice below. The requirement is expected to be for an agreement of three to five years. Vendor must be active and registered in SAM.gov.

The potential contractor shall be capable of providing the following but not limited to:

• Conduit, Fittings, Outlets Bodies, and Mounting,

• Cutting Tools
• Drills and Drivers
• Drill Presses and Accessories
• Drywall and Plastering Tools
• Ratchets and Sockets
• Pryers and Pullers
• Hammers and Striking Tools
• Heat Guns and Accessories
• Measuring and Layout Tools
• Current Probes
• Continuity Testers
• Voltage Detectors
• Pressure Meters and Manometers
• Automotive Test and Record Instruments

USACE is seeking responses from all responsible small businesses. Small businesses are defined under the associated NAICS code for this effort, 332510 as those domestic sources having a size standard of 750. Please include your company's size classification and socio-economic status in any response to this notice.

Companies that can provide general industrial hardware supply are requested to email to erica.b.miller@usace.army.mil.

The report shall include any other information relevant to your capabilities. Also, the following information is requested to be provided as part of the response to this sources sought notice:

(1) Small Business status: Identification and verification of the company as an SBA certified 8(a) firm, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business or Small Business for NAICS Code 332510.


(2) A CAGE Code and/or DUNS Number.


(3) Business Address.


(4) List of products provided.


(5) Proof of being a licensed contractor eligible to work in the state of New Jersey.


(6) Examples of past experience for similar services within the past five (5) years. Examples (if any) of experience with the Federal Government not more than 5 years old. For example, if you have had contracts with the Government during the past 5 years, provide a list of those contracts.


(7) Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing its minimum specifications and finalizing its market research.
