This is a request for information (RFI) ONLY! The United States Mint at West Point is only intending to assess and gauge the open markets' availability and price range of individual plastic/vinyl coin sized packages.
The anticipated NAICS code(s) is: 326111
Plastics Bag and Pouch Manufacturing
REQUIRED PRODUCT:
1). Individual 2"x 2" clear plastic or similar material bags, sleeves, pockets or pouches
2). Envelope style, flap that closes, or sealable so that contents do not fall out (CANNOT be re-sealable style, e.g. Ziploc type closure)
3). Must be easy to open and close
4). Pictures of product(s) available
5). Specifications of product(s) available
6). Manufacturer of product(s)
7). Price ranges by quantity
8). Must have active registration in SAM (provide DUNS)
9). Samples may be requested at a later date
In response to this RFI, please provide:
1. Please include all price ranges & bulk and volume discounts if applicable.
2. Availability of items and estimated shipping times.
3. Please include the RFI# USM-WP-SLEEVE in your response.
4. Please note that the United States Mint is exempt from the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). In accordance with 31 U.S.C. § 5136, provisions of law governing procurement or public contracts shall not be applicable to the procurement of goods or services necessary for carrying out Mint programs and operations.
