Indian Mountain LRRS, Alaska, 0.28 Acres of Land Available for Lease
The Air Force has 0.28 acres of land available for lease on Indian Mountain Long Range Radar Site (LRRS), Alaska. The lease area is located at approximately 66° 3'59.95"N, 153°40'59.59"W.
The lease period will be for a term of five years. Cost of Lease of the property will be at a minimum equal to fair market value. Grantee must be able to meet all conditions in the attached lease template (Attachment 1). The lease will be at no cost to the United States Air Force. The details of all equipment and space utilization must be provided for review by the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. At the completion of the lease, Grantor has complete discretion in granting a renewal and can consider, by way of example but not by way of limitation, the past practices of the Grantee on the installation, the timeliness of the Grantee's request for renewal relative to requests by other entities for similar leases and the changing operational requirements of the Government.
Indian Mountain LRRS is a remote site located in the northern Interior Region of Alaska. Access to the site is heavily controlled and regulated by the United States Air Force. Primary means of transportation are Government Scheduled aircraft. All costs required for travel to Indian Mountain LRRS are reimbursable to the Government and non-negotiable.
