Independent Program Assessment Services
This is to inform you that Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) has issued a Request for Offer (RFO) for Independent Program Assessment Services. TRS is seeking offers from qualified respondents to provide independent assessment and reporting to TRS' Board and Executive Director or the Executive Director's designee regarding critical risks related to the TEAM Program to enable informed decision-making. The TEAM Program is a cohesive collection of interdependent, interrelated projects designed to meet the business and technology objectives of TRS over the next ten to twenty (10-20) years. Duties include monitoring, assessing, and reporting on the following: (1) Adherence to the schedule and budget; (2) Issues management tracking and resolution; (3) Risk management activities; (4) Internal Quality Assurance reports and activities; (5) Program manager and project contractor activities; (6) Executive Steering Committee and Core Management Team activities; and (7) Sufficiency of management's assessment and action plan regarding adequacy of resources to support the TEAM initiative.
