Implementation of Operational Efficiencies
MPS now seeks proposals from qualified vendors addressing implementation of the Report at MPS. The Report contains some specific options to effectuate cost savings as well as more generalized observations of shortfalls in organizational structure and management practices. While this RFP seeks implementation of the recommendations in the Report, it neither requires nor expects Proposers to accept verbatim all of the recommendations in the Report. Instead, MPS expects vendors to be expert in the most effective and efficient organizational structures, staffing levels and key performance indicators in like-sized K-12 public school systems and to apply that knowledge to propose a successful implementation of the operational efficiencies at MPS. The decision to recommend implementation of suggestions in the report or of other organizational or staffing level changes must be supported by hard data demonstrating that the recommendations are supported by best practices and/or have been successful in other like sized urban k-12 school districts.
