Imbruvica (ibrutinib) Capsules
The National Acquisition Center intends to enter into a sole-source contract with Pharmacyclics Inc. for the procurement of Imbruvica (Ibrutinib) a branded (patented) product used for the treatment of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). In addition it is also indicated for the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). This action is to contract for the identified drug which is currently sourced from a non-designated Trades Agreement Act (TAA) country. The product is available from only one source, Pharmacyclics. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals as Imbruvica (Ibrutinib) is protected by patent. It is anticipated a contract will be awarded for a base plus four one-year options.
