Imaging Services
The purpose of this RFP is to select a vendor that can satisfy the States need for Imaging Services. There are approximately 5.2 million images to be scanned. The documents are contained in about 2,100 fifteen-inch boxes. The majority of the documents are 8.5 x 11 inch format with less than 5% being undersized or oversized. The majority of the documents are black and white with less than 5% requiring color. Four index fields will be required.
Work needed (detailed specifications are in section 2.4):
Transportation of the documents
Document preparation
Document imaging
Image enhancement and cleanup
Indexing (4 fields)
Verification (100% page to image verification for completeness and legibility)
Deliver document images (PDF/A) on a hard drive or other mutually agreeable format
Return transportation of CDs, negatives, tapes in original folders
Document destruction
