Public Announcement of Intent to Purchase on a Sole Source Basis.
The Government intends to procure on-line access to Illiad Resource Sharing Management software for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT ) Library. The proposed action is to acquire AFIT-wide electronic access to the Illiad Resource Sharing Management software with unlimited concurrent users site-wide access. The subscription period will be for one base year from 1 Sep 2014 - 31 Aug 2015 with the inclusion of two 1-year options (1 Sep 2015 - 31 Aug 2016; 1 Sep 2016 - 31 Aug 2017). NAICS: 519130, FSC: 7630, SIZE STANDARD: 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The Government will consider any responses received within 5 days of this posting. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement.
