Identity and Branding System Design
The Center for Design Innovation (CDI), a new inter-institutional research center of the University of North Carolina, invites proposals to develop bases for identity and branding system design.
CDI builds on strengths of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Winston-Salem State University and Forsyth Technical Community College. Our vision is to be a catalyst for transformation in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad region, ultimately recognized internationally for preeminence in design and setting an example of how design can be an engine for economic development.
CDI's mission is to create an environment in which diverse constituents generate, develop and translate creative thinking to foster the growth of education, research and commercial enterprises. We promote values of openness, dynamism, flexibility, diversity and collaboration. Our strategies aim to generate and facilitate design-focused creativity, education, research and entrepreneurial activity as a design-based business cluster accelerator.
