I-deas software licenses for the NSWCCD.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following item: i-DEAS Software Licenses to include maintenance, upgrades, and support for a period of one year. The manufacturer is Bruel & Kjaer of Norcross, GA.
The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 511210 and the business size standard is $35.5 million. The reason for restricting competition is as follows: Bruel & Kjaer I-deas software licenses has been in long-term use at the NSWCCD due to the software program's flexibility and ease of data acquisition. The software is used to support structural acoustic testing and equipment functionality testing for the Ohio-Replacement Program. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
Any firms believing that they can provide an equal to referenced sound source motor controllers may submit a written response to be received within 15 days of the date of this posting.
This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
