The U.S. Army Contracting Center-New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Emerging Technologies Contracting Center (ET) on behalf of the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center (ARDEC) Weapons and Software Engineering Center (WSEC), Benet Laboratories is seeking experienced and qualified information technology, resource management and technical/project assistance support. The intent of this market survey is to identify potential sources that can provide technical support services to Benet Laboratories' underlying support systems; information technology, resource management and project management. Benet Laboratories is an Army RDT&E facility that is tasked to maintain the Army's expertise in the technology, design, development, engineering and production and field support for large caliber armament systems (consisting of cannons, mortars, recoilless rifles, tank gun mounts, recoil mechanisms, munitions handling systems and tank turret components). This effort is planned to be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), firm fixed price type contract to enable Benet Laboratories' program managers meet performance and schedule milestones.

Responses:

Interested sources should submit a company brochure or a tailored capability statement for these requirements that clearly details the ability to perform the aspects of the notice described above. All proprietary information should be marked as such. Responses will be received, reviewed and held in a confidential manner by Government personnel. Submitted documentation will not be returned.
This announcement constitutes an official Request for Information (RFI). Any information or brochures submitted will be used for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract (see FAR 15.201(e)). No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort.

Submission Information:

Responses to the RFI must be received no later than 3:00 PM EST on 2 January 2015, via email to Giuseppe Tropiano Jr., Contract Specialist (ACC-NJ, ET), giuseppe.tropiano.civ@mail.mil. Vendors who respond to this notice must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov). Interested firms should provide their address, point-of-contact POC with telephone number and e-mail address.
