IT Services for Nursing
The University wishes to retain the services of a qualified firm to provide information technology services for the College. Contract initial term will begin on October 1, 2011, or upon execution if later, and end June 30, 2014 with the option to renew for one additional twenty-four month period at the same terms and conditions based on satisfactory performance, continuing need and availability of funds.
The objective of this request for proposal is to procure a new electronic data reporting system and data interface to meet the requirements of the Williams V. Quinn Consent Decree. This decree requires that the state assess all of the approximately 4000 William's class members residing in 24 nursing facility institutions for mental diseases (IMDs). Beyond that the College intends to use this new tool to meet re-balancing efforts across the long term care system. This new reporting system will be used to inform and support general re-balancing going forward. The system will also be the basis for changes to the current Pre=admission Screening Resident Review (PASRR) process used statewide.
