The purpose of the sources sought is to identify available authorized businesses to provide the required items.


Sources Sought: The 92d Contracting squadron is issuing this sources sought seeking to identify responsible potential sources to provide three ISU-70 (or equal) shipping containers used for Air, Ground, Train and Ship Transport of cargo for the purpose of deployment and general readiness requirements.  


The container is required to be airworthy and transportable on board a KC-135 aircraft. It needs to be compatible with standard military transport vehicles and equipment, it must be capable of a 10,000 lbs. payload, and it should be able to protect the contents from the environment and be enclosed. Any doors should provide the maximum access possible to any cargo on board the container.


The ISU-70 or equal container must meet the standards outlined in the attached salient characteristics document.


This sources sought is being issued under NAICS Code 332311 Prefabricated Metal Building & Component Manufacturing and PSC 8145 Specialized Shipping & Storage Containers. The size standard is 750 employees.

This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested at this time. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. A responsible potential source shall have registered with the System for Award Management.

Responders to this notice need to provide their business category (small or large). The response should be one page providing the following information: Business name and address, CAGE code, size classification, socioeconomic classification based on NAICS size standard and a point of contact. Please respond to this request by 2 July 2019 at 1:00 PM PST.
