The County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) plans to host with a remote site at Todd County Emergency Service (ES) to upgrade both Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) analog 9-1-1 telephony system with a highly reliable integrated E9-1-1 telephone system designed for the mission-critical nature of PSAP which is compliant with NENA Next Generation (NG911). The existing legacy analog controllers has been in operation for almost ten (10) years at both sites, and are beginning to require more and more maintenance and has on numerous incidents failed. With NENA NG-911 migration looming in the near future, ECC desires to host an upgrade for the aging analog 9-1-1 telephony system with an IP-Based solution that is compliant with NENA 08-002 and emerging NENA IP-Capable PSAP standard. The result will be increased redundancy/diversity, and a system capable of evolving with NG911 over the next decade without requiring additional hardware upgrades/replacements.
