This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number FA8224-19-R-7374 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 and its supplements.
This is a 100% Small-Business Set-Aside announcement filed under NAICS code 334519 with small business size standard of 500 employees and Federal Supply Code 6630. The requirement calls for the contractor to provide an Ion Chromatograph (IC) that meets the minimum characteristics as detailed in the Purchase Specifications. This "brand name of equal" solicitation includes a product listing for ThermoFisher and the specific product numbers that meet the purchase specifications. See FAR 52.211-6 for submitting "equal" quotes for other brand name ICs. This acquisition will be made in support of the 309th MXSG at Hill AFB, UT.
Selection of awardee will include comparative analysis IAW FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations and Offers, giving value to price and meeting specifications in purchase specification.
