INVITATION TO BID - Procurement of Ammunition Disassembly Machine (Fixed Cartridge Ammunition)
The United Nations Development Programme Country Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina is announcing an Invitation to Bid for the Provision of an Ammunition Disassembly Machine (Fixed Cartridge Ammunition) for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The equipment will be procured through the Small Arms Control Programme (SACBIH). One of the major aims of the SACBIH is to reduce unstable ammunition stocks in BiH on an industrial basis, thus ensuring safer, quicker and more environmentally friendly ammunition disposal, which in turn will provide a safer, securer environment. The activity is funded by the European Union.
All companies that are interested in and registered for the provision of mentioned equipment are invited to obtain bidding documents and to submit their quote for the following:
1. Manufacture and Provision of a disassembly machine to remove the projectiles from Fixed Cartridge Case munitions from 20mm up to 125mm Calibre. The machine is to be complete with remote operation equipment and safety shielding for operators.
