INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Constraints and Implementation
1. The Inventory Management System must be in production by November 15, 2010. Vendors must make allowance for this deadline in the schedules that are committed for implementation. It is anticipated that contract award be on or before September 14, 2010.
2. Microsoft SQL Database is the standard at the County Information Technology.
3. Feature based security is required for individual users.
4. Substantial onsite involvement of the Vendor will be required to develop encoding schemes for locations and barcodes.
5. Status Reports for inventory, returns and utilization history by asset, distribution location and funding source will be indispensable to a successful implementation.
6. Onsite training is mandatory for the staff that operates the Warehouse.
