INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - PM SERVICES ON BUILDING CONTROL AND FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS
The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Johnson Controls, Incorporated, 5757 North Green Bay Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209-4408, for Annual Preventive Maintenance Services on the proprietary Metasys building control systems and quarterly inspections on the Fire Alarm Systems at the Blackfeet Service Unit facilities in Browning and Heart Butte, Montana. Johnson Controls, Incorporated, is the local distributor and only authorized company to service the systems. The procurement will be conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures; 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; and FAR 37.101, Non-Personal Services Contract. The IHS anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order for the period October 1, 2017, through September 30, 2018. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
