This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  Also, this acquisition is being procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15.  

The outcome to be achieved is to obtain Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) services for Navy and Marine Corps installations in the San Diego Metropolitan, California (CA). The San Diego metropolitan area is inclusive of Naval Base San Diego, Naval Base Point Loma, and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and their outlying support areas (see solicitation package for details). ISWM services will also be provided for three (3) outlying Naval Training Installations in the San Diego County, CA area.  


The areas include the U.S. Navy Remote Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) training center in Warner Springs, CA, the Mountain Warfare Training Camp Michael Monsoor in Campo, CA, and Camp Morena, operated by Naval Base Coronado, CA. The proposed contract will provide labor, supervision, management, equipment, and materials (except those specified as government-furnished).
