INTEGRATED COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH AND MOBILE COMPUTING SOLUTIONS
Vendors are invited to provide a written proposal for a comprehensive, fully integrated, public safety
information management solution. This Request for Proposals (RFP) states the overall scope of
products and services desired, specific software functionality, technology foundation as well as
desired vendor qualifications. The proposals should be submitted in sections based on Computer
Aided Dispatch, Mobile Data Services, Records Management, Jail Management and any associated
“module” add-ons to the main product proposals for convenience and scalability.
The City of Puyallup (hereinafter “Agency”) seeks the following technical foundation:
Windows-based environment - Client and Server based with multi-tasking capability
Microsoft SQL 2008 Relational Database(s) or current
VM Ware consolidation also accepted with proper training and certification in product
Integration to leverage desktop productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, ESRI, etc
Widely accepted development foundation (i.e., Visual Basic, C++, HTML, Visual Studio .Net,
J2EE, WebSphere, etc.)
