INSTALLATION AND MAINTANANCE OF THE LVBC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
Currently LVBC is running version 4.2.6 on a PC LAN, and would like to procure a new
Sun Financials version 5.4. There is therefore need to implement Sun Financials.
With this change in mind LVBC will be looking forward to taking advantage of the open
architecture available with SunSystems on this platform. Also software to take the
advantage of the extended functionality provided for, fixed assets, procurement, general
ledger, budgeting and reporting capabilities. The system must also be able to import and
export data to and from various existing operational systems.
The Terms of Reference for this Contract, among others are:
(i) Supply and install latest version of SunSystems 5 developed by Systems
Union Group Plc of United Kingdom;
(ii) Customise the developed system, including any auxiliary systems, to meet
all LVBC financial processes requirements;
(iii) Provide in-house training and technology transfer to adapt to SunSystems
5 and the auxiliary systems;
(iv) Design a mechanism for smooth implementation and data migration to the
new system;
(v) Provide annual maintenance and support services to LVBC for smooth
operation of the SunsSystems software;
(vi) Liaise closely with the in-house staff to plan and implement the contracted
work within a mutually agreed period;
(vii) Offer rated consultancy services on the system during the contract period.
