DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: This is a Design-Build project. The Scope of the work is consisting of safety compliance of the roofing, as per D.P.G.R. Toscana 18 Dec 2013, n. 75/3, pertaining to "Regolamento di Attuazione dell'Art. 82, Comma 15, della Legge Regionale 3 gennaio 2005, N. 1 (Regulation for Activation of Article 82, Sub 15, of Regional Law 1 of 3 January 2005"). The buildings involved are 7 (seven) warehouses type and they are located in the Supply and Maintenance Area (Depot).


METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This is a Request for Proposal resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price type contract.


ISSUANCE OF SOLICITATION: 23 April 2018


RESPONSE DATE: 31 May 2018, 12:00 PM "noon" (Local time, Rome, Italy) (Due-in date for the submittal of offer)


PERFORMANCE PERIOD:
The project shall be completed as follows:
Design Phase: 120 calendar days
Construction Phase: 210 calendar days (to include Government time)


WORK MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 (Euro 93,290.00) and $250,000 (Euro 233,225.00)


FUNDING: This project is funded.


SITE VISIT: A site visit will be held on 16 May 2018, 09:00 hrs. The meeting point will be at Gate #27 (Depot Gate), Via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa).


HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate to the site all interested parties are invited to indicate their interest by submitting an e-mail not later than Close of Business (COB) 11 April 2018 to the following e-mail address: Sonia.zanobini2.ln@mail.mi


Please indicate in your e-mail the Project Number/Title: "Project ES 00070-5 "Install missing safety devices WOF Depot"; the name of the company; the address; the phone number; the fax number; the e-mail address and the name of person(s) (maximum two) who will be present at the site visit. A legible copy of the identification document(s) has to be provided. If the person(s) has\/have entry pass (es), a copy of the pass/passes has/have to be provided. Only the person(s) who has/have provided the personal data would be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the gate. The offeror(s) not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the base. Not indicating interest as described above does not preclude the offeror from participating in this requirement. Note: Interested Parties are NOT required to attend the organized site visit in order to submit an offer.
