Infectious Waste Services Location of Service: Iowa City, IA VA Health Care System
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested.
Solicitation number VA263-17-Q-0468 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89.
The VA anticipates one fixed price service contract award for all resources and labor necessary to complete the Service listed above.
Additional requirements are listed within the attached solicitation document titled S02. VA263-17-Q-0468.
This procurement contains a service disabled veterans owned small business set-aside. Prospective offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award (www.sam.gov) and Vendor Information Paged (VIP) data base https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/Default.aspx
Quotes will only be accepted from responsible contractors. The NAICS code for the solicitation is 562112 with a size standard of $38.5 million.
A list of the contract line items, quantity, and unit of measure are listed within the attached solicitation documentation.
Quotes are due to the Contracting Office by March 28th, 2017 at 12:00 PM CDT. Quotes are required to be emailed to scott.morrison2@va.gov prior to the solicitation closing date and time.
Though the Contracting Officer shall respond with an email citing receipt/non-receipt of a quote and all documents sent, it is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure their quote is received in its entirety by the Contracting Officer before the solicitation closing.
