INDOOR AIR QUALITY (IAQ) RENOVATION
Fire Department is completing system upgrades to fire station mechanical systems to improve the indoor environment of the fire stations and ensure
healthy working conditions for fire staff. This specific improvement project includes the addition of packaged cooling/heating units to serve the occupied area, installation of a central exhaust system in the apparatus bay for ventilation purposes, and the removal of all combustion equipment, and replacement with direct vent type, i.e. boiler, water heater and or hydronic unit heaters. Project scope also includes an electrical component to connect and serve the indicated equipment as well as an architectural component to address building finishes and structures affected by the new system work.
