The Auditors IPR Division is seeking proposals from individuals, firms, teams or consultants with demonstrated experience in reviewing cases of civilian death while in police custody. The purpose of this service is to assess the general adequacy of PPB policies and practices regarding in-custody deaths (ICD); improve policies and practices of the PPB; and assist the Auditors IPR Division, which was created to receive citizen complaints involving members of the PPB, monitor internal affairs investigations, and recommend policy changes to the City Council and Chief of Police.
