IHS EDR Implementation Support, Notice to Sole Source
The Department of Interior's (DOI) Interior Business Center (IBC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Leidos, Inc. for the acquisition of technical and managerial services to assist the Indian Health Service's (IHS) Electronic Dental Records (EDR) Project Management Office (PMO) in planning, as well as, coordinating and managing the implementation of the EDR at additional sites. A key element of this requirement is the need to use Dentrix Enterprise (DXE) EDR software. This software is currently being utilized by IHS EDR and has it has been identified as the only software that is able to interface with IHS' legacy Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Vendors wishing to convey their ability to compete for this requirement will need to confirm their ability to provide DXE software licenses in their response.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all responses received within 15 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contact based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
