IBM Hardware and Software Maintenance for XIV Storage System Model R3

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Philadelphia Office, intends to procure hardware and software maintenance for IBM XIV Storage System Model R3.

The proposed contract action is for commercial services in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1); IBM and their authorized resellers.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210 and the small business size standard is $38.5 Million. Upon its release, the solicitation and any/all amendments will be made available electronically at https://www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available.

The resultant contract shall be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract, with a one-year base and two one-year options.
The maintenance is required to begin on 12/21/2018.

ONLY QUOTES FROM IBM AND THEIR AUTHORIZED RESELLERS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. All responsible sources may submit quotations to fulfill this requirement which shall be considered by the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Philadelphia Office.

Vendors providing quotations must be registered in the Governmentbs System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. See https://www.sam.gov for further information and instructions. There is no fee associated with registering your company in SAM.

The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring NECO @ https://www.neco.navy.mil for the posting of the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation that may be released.
